Yoga asanas, or poses, that place your head below your heart and hips, therefore “inverting” your body from its normal upright position. Yoga inversions offer many benefits from releasing tension, increase circulation and energy levels, and strengthen muscles. In my own personal practise I have found that inversions promote my emotional growth and calming the mind. Let those happy endorphines easily find your brain. Inversion asanas can range from easy to difficult. In this program I will break down the basics for you to find stronger foundation to balacing up side down. Remember to listen to your body, take breaks, be kind and gentle with yourself. Make sure your surrounding area around is clear of anything that could hurt should you fall and most importantly have fun.
